Another affordable range device from the house of Xiaomi is now officially confirmed to launch on September 3 in India. Xiaomi has already started teasing the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime smartphone on their social media handles.
The brand has also put up a micro site for the launch of the device. According to the info on the website, the smartphone is expected to come with an adaptive refresh rate display, MediaTek processor and a big battery.

Recently, the model number of the Redmi 10 Prime smartphone appeared on the IMEI database(21061119BI). Here, the ‘I’ at the end of the model number indicates that it is an Indian variant of the smartphone.

Further, it will run on the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. It is an octa-core processor which is clocked at 2 GHz. Also It comes coupled with the ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It will come with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage.
Talking about the cameras, the device will get a quad-rear camera setup. The primary camera will be a 50 MP sensor with an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor and the usual 2+2 MP sensors for depth and macro capabilities. While, on the front you will get to see an 8 MP selfie snapper under the centrally aligned punch-hole.
Lastly, the smartphone will pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support and a 9W wireless charging option. It will come with a USB Type-C charging port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 5.1 support for connectivity.
Redmi 10 Prime: Expected Indian Pricing and Launch Date
The Redmi 10 Prime smartphone is going to be launched on September 3 starting at 12 noon. Although, there isn’t any information about the pricing of the smartphone, we can surely expect it to be similar with the global pricing.
Its base variant with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB ROM is priced at $180 which roughly translates to Rs. 13,500. The 4 GB/128 GB and the 6 GB/128 GB variants are priced at $200 (roughly Rs. 15,000) and $220 (roughly Rs. 16,300) respectively.
Keeping the past trends about Xiaomi in mind, the device may be priced aggressively under the Rs.15,000 price bracket in India.
