Overview

In India, Xiaomi launched its Redmi Note 10 series in March this year.

It was the successor of its remarkable Redmi Note 9 series, which performed pretty well in the Indian market.

Being a 4G supporting version, people were anticipating a 5G variant of the Redmi Note 10 series as well.

As other smartphone brands are offering both 4G and 5G versions of their smartphones, Xiaomi finally decided to work over it.

So, here comes the Redmi Note 10 5G series, launching in China on May 26.

The Redmi Note 10 5G series

Following some of the reports from China, the series will be sporting three devices. The devices would probably include:

  • The vanilla Redmi Note 10 5G,
  • A mid-range one, called Note 10 pro 5G and a;
  • Higher performing variant called Note 10 Pro + 5G or Note 10 Ultra 5G.

As teased in the official poster release, the device pictured is the Redmi Note 10 5G.

We can predict this as it listed the same smartphone on the TENAA certification website with the model number M2103K19C.

The device was certified back in March by China’s TENAA authorities.

Specifications

According to various reports, the company doesn’t officially confirm the exact specifications, but some exciting features are on the way.

The Ultra variant would probably have an extensive vapour chamber cooling system, and the device would weigh around 193g.

All the devices in the series will support dual-channel UFS 3.1 storage. If not all, the Ultra variant will surely get this feature.

Other connectivity features like NFC 3.0 and Bluetooth 5.2 will also add to the list.

On the back will be a textured design with straight lines running from top to bottom. The camera module will be finished in black colour with a silver accent around the primary sensor.

More of the specifications is discussed below:

1.) Redmi Note 10 5G

Carrying the model no. M2103K19C, it will be the vanilla variant of the series.

On the display front, it will sport a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution.  It is not yet confirmed, if it will have any higher refresh rate feature.

If some recent leaks are to be believed, the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G will be powered by the latest Dimensity 900 chipset. This SoC was launched by MediaTek recently.

Overall Impression

The Series would be a power-packed series from Xiaomi this time. The Ultra/ Pro + variant will likely be a very potent device, with its great processor, camera, and cooling system.

It will be worth the wait, and let’s see, what more does the Note 10 series bring.

Apart from the Redmi Note 10 5G series, I think a new version of the Redmi Note 8 device will also be launching.

The device would be named Redmi Note 8 2021. Reports suggest that the design would be the same as older ones. Specifications as of now include, a Helio G85 processor will be powering the device.
